Rome, GA - The Rome Braves are proud to announce that left hander Bruce Zimmermann has been named as the South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Week for May 14-20.
Bruce enjoyed an outstanding week tossing a shutout in seven innings pitched in his only start. Along with not allowing any runs, Zimmermann surrendered just two hits, walked one, and struck out nine to get the win against Asheville on May 17th.
