'Birds, Suns to Play Doubleheader on June 8

SALISBURY, MD - The Delmarva Shorebirds officially announce that they will host a single-admission doubleheader against the Hagerstown Suns on Friday, June 8 at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium.
The twin bill was necessitated by a rainout of the teams' scheduled game on May 18. First pitch of the double dip is set for 5:05 p.m. with gates opening at 4:00. Game two will take place approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one, and both games will last seven innings.
The Friday doubleheader is an Orange Friday at Perdue Stadium, as well as Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday. It is also Perdue Farmers Night and will feature postgame Q105 Fireworks presented by Perdue Foods.
