Sundogs Named in CHL's Best of the Best Poll

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - The Central Hockey League's annual "Best of the Best" Poll was released today and the Arizona Sundogs were named in six of the categories.
On the ice, defenseman Tyler Butler was credited as one of the league's "Hardest Shooters", finishing third, and Jesse Perrin came in third in the "Hardest Bodychecker" category.
Off the ice, the Sundogs were credited with the "Best Game Notes" in the league for visiting media, coming in first in the category. Sundogs radio voice, Brien Rea, came in second in the "Best Broadcaster" category - the third consecutive season that Rea has finished in the voting's top three and the second time he's been one vote shy of the top spot.
Prescott Valley was second in the "Best City" category and the Hampton Inn was voted the third "Best Host Hotel" in the CHL.
The Sundogs continue their road trip on Friday when visit the Tulsa Oilers. Game time is 5:35 PM MST.
The Arizona Sundogs are the Central Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes.
