Butler a Finalist for CHL's Man of the Year Award

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - The Central Hockey League announced today the five finalists for its annual "Man of the Year" award, and Arizona Sundogs defenseman Tyler Butler is on the list.

Butler is among a group of candidates that include Jason Deitch (Allen), Brett Henley (Ft. Wayne), Greg Labenski (Dayton), and Riley Weselowski (Rapid City) for the other finalists.

The award is scheduled to be announced on Tuesday, March 20th.

Butler is currently in his second season with the Sundogs, serving as the team's captain both years. He is currently seventh among defensemen in the league with 37 points (10 goals, 27 assists) on the year.

The Arizona Sundogs are the Central Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes.
