Adirondack Phantoms News Release
Global Spectrum, operators of the Wachovia Complex for facility owners Comcast-Spectacor, today rescheduled two events currently scheduled for Sunday, January 7, 2007, to accommodate the National Football League playoff game at Lincoln Financial Field scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on the same day.
The Disney On Ice presents Princess Wishes performance scheduled for Sunday, January 7 at 5 p.m. is rescheduled to 10 a.m. that same day. Patrons holding tickets for the rescheduled 5 p.m. performance have two options:
* They may attend the 10 a.m. performance utilizing the same tickets and sitting in the same seats.
* They may exchange their tickets for any other performance of Disney On Ice presents Princess Wishes while it performs at Wachovia Center from Thursday, January 4 through Sunday, January 7.
The scheduled 1 p.m. performance of Disney On Ice presents Princess Wishes will continue as planned, although patrons holding tickets to this performance also have the option of exchanging their tickets for any other performance of Disney On Ice presents Princess Wishes while it performs at Wachovia Center on the following dates and times:
Thursday, January 4 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Friday, January 5 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Saturday, January 6 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m.
Sunday, January 7 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The Philadelphia Phantoms vs. the Grand Rapids Griffins, which was scheduled for the Wachovia Spectrum on Sunday, January 7 at 5:05 p.m., will now be played at the Wachovia Spectrum on Monday, January 8 at 7:05 p.m. Patrons holding tickets for the game may use their tickets on the rescheduled date or they may exchange them for another game during the remainder of the 2007 season, excluding playoffs.
"With the expected attendance at the football game and the heavy traffic congestion associated with the game, we felt it was in the best interest of our customers to make special arrangements and reschedule the previously scheduled events," said Global Spectrum's Tim Murphy, General Manager of Wachovia Complex. "While we know many people have purchased tickets to these events, we have made it possible for them to exchange their tickets for another performance of Disney on Ice during the week or another Phantoms game during the season."
Patrons wishing to exchange their tickets may do so at the Wachovia Complex Box Office prior to the newly selected date of the desired performance or game. Additional tickets are still available for Disney On Ice presents Princess Wishes and Philadelphia Phantoms hockey by calling ComcastTIX at 1-800-298-4200 or visiting ComcastTIX.com.
