
Sun Players To Make Community Appearances

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (May 27, 2008) - The Connecticut Sun will be out in the community at two different events this week.
On Wednesday, May 28th, Asjha Jones, Tamika Whitmore, Kerri Gardin and Jolene Anderson will visit The Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut in New Haven from 6-7 p.m., bringing a full dinner to the residents and volunteers.
The following day, Tamika Raymond, Lindsay Whalen and Barbara Turner will be at the Paterson School in Newington from 9-10 a.m. for a Reading and Fitness event involving the entire third grade class.
In its sixth season, the Connecticut Sun is committed to making a difference in the surrounding communities. Throughout the 2008 season, players, coaches and members of the front office will make various appearances to promote literacy and fitness.
