UPCOMING OPPONENTS

The Storm can sweep the season series with the Sting for the second time in three years with a win on Friday, having pulled out a 62-60 victory in the first meeting in Charlotte. Janell Burse tallied 10 of her 14 points in the second half, including the game-winning layup at the buzzer. Seattle is 7-2 all-time against Charlotte and a perfect 4-0 at KeyArena.

Seattle dropped the first two meetings of the year against Los Angeles before grabbing a 78-70 victory at STAPLES Center on July 16. The win halted a five-game losing streak in the series, and pulled the Storm to 7-13 all-time against the Sparks. The two teams enter the week tied for third in the crowded Western Conference playoff race, with Minnesota just a half game behind them.

STORM IN THE COMMUNITY

Tanisha Wright will visit the Microsoft campus on Monday as part of Take Our Sons & Daughters to Work Day. Simone Edwards and Natalia Vodopyanova will appear at Saturn of Lynnwood near the Alderwood Mall on Tuesday at 5 p.m. Suzy Batkovic, Janell Burse, Iziane Castro Marques and Alicia Thompson will serves as "Baristas for a Day" on Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Madison Park Starbucks.

The Storm's next home game at KeyArena is Friday, July 29 at 7 p.m. vs. the Charlotte Sting.
