Holland honoured for 'Biltmore Hat trick'

Nearly sixty years after the first Biltmore hat was presented to a junior hockey player from the storied Guelph Biltmore Mad Hatters franchise, the Guelph Storm and Guelph's Biltmore Hats returned the 'Hat Trick' tradition to junior hockey in the Royal City.

Before the game on Wednesday when the Storm hosted the Plymouth Whalers, Biltmore Hats was proud to recognize Peter Holland's recent three-goal game by presenting him with a Biltmore Hat.

Scoring once in the first and twice in the second Holland scored his second hat trick of the season and the third of his career on January 17th against the Sudbury Wolves. Storm players Taylor Beck, Mathew Sisca and Michael Latta have also received Biltmore Hats this season.

Ironically on Wednesday, after watching Holland receive his second Biltmore Hat of the year, Holland's teammate Michael Latta recorded his second hat trick of the year, scoring four times in the Storm's 6-3 victory over the Whalers. Holland assisted on three of Latta's four goals.
