"We are really excited about the addition of Alex Bump. He is someone who we have seen a lot of over the past year, and feel he has been one of, if not the most, impactful players we have faced. Our staff looks forward to working with him, and helping him continue to develop his game. We also wish Haden Kruse the best moving forward as he heads to Omaha."- President of Hockey Operations/Head Coach Anthony Noreen

"This is an exciting announcement today as we feel we have obtained one of the top forwards in the Western Conference. Alex Bump has proven to be a consistent scoring threat the last year and a half in his time with the Lancers (and in Minnesota high school hockey), and he has certainly caused us headaches in our games against him. One of the best statements we can make is "We feared playing against him", and it's great to have him on our side as we move forward this season. Alex has produced and performed at a high level in our Conference and in some heavy hard playoff-type games already, and we can't wait to see how that translates with our players and team down the stretch. We'd like to say thank you to David Wilkie and the Omaha Lancers for negotiating this transaction with us. We also wish outgoing player Haden Kruse the best moving forward in his junior career with Omaha." - General Manager Jason Koehler
