Here is a list of highlights about the Tulsa Oilers hot start to the season, as they are approaching franchise record setting events.

The Oilers have won seven straight games and the franchise record is eight in a row. That was set in the 2002-03 season, November 1-19, 2002. They are 11-3-0 and the .786 winning percentage is the best in the Northern Conference and second overall in the CHL

At the BOK Center the Oilers are 7-0-0 and are the only team in the CHL with a perfect home ice record.

Center Rob Hisey leads the league in scoring with 11 goals and 19 for 30 points. He is currently on a 12 game point streak with 27 points in those 12 games. That is the longest streak in the league this season.

Right winger T.J. Caig is tied for the CHL lead with seven power play goals (with Odessa's Alex Dunn).

Goaltender Kevin Armstrong leads the CHL with 10 wins.

Hisey has been CHL Player of the week (week ending Nov. 1) and player of the month for October Caig was CHL player of the week (week ending Nov. 15) and Armstrong was CHL goalie of the week that same week Rick Kozak's 32 penalty minutes at Wichita October 23rd is a league high for a single game this season.

The Oilers have the top two players in plus minus rating in the CHL as Derek Eastman is +14 and T.J. Caig is +12

The Oilers have given up just one power play goal at home, killing 33 of 34 penalties, a 97.1 percent rate.

At 4.14 goals per game the Oilers are tops in the Northern conference in scoring and second overall in the league

Six of the Oiler 14 games have been one goal games and Tulsa is 5-1-0 in those games

The Oilers will try to tie their franchise record for consecutive wins Thursday night against the Missouri Mavericks at 7:05 p.m. at the BOK Center.
