Full Week Ahead For Brahmas On Thanksgiving Week

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (November 23)- It's all about turkeys, troops and hockey this week for the Brahmas as they host their annual "NYTEX Honors the Military" nights with games Wednesday night (7:05 PM) and Sunday afternoon (4:05 PM) at the NTYEX Sports Centre. The team will exchange their purple and black sweaters for red, white and blue when they wear their commemorative "Lady Liberty" jerseys on Wednesday as they host the Odessa Jackalopes at the NYTEX Sports Centre for the first night of "Military Night". Game time slated for a 7:05 PM faceoff. The Brahmas have outscored the Jackalopes 18-4 in their last two games against one another.
Friday will be an Oklahoma-Texas battle when the Brahmas travel to Tulsa for a 7:35 PM tilt at the BOK Arena. The Brahmas hold a 1-0 record against the Oilers this season, winning 5-3 early this month at home. Brett Jaeger earned the victory between the pipes and James Hiebert led all scorers with three assists.
The Brahmas short road trip will continue with a match up on Saturday against their new cross town rivals, the Allen Americans. The Metroplex mayhem on ice is scheduled for 7:30 PM, but the action can be caught online from CHL-TV.
Texas will continue to honor the troops Sunday afternoon when they face the Tulsa Oilers for the second time in three days. Immediately following the 4:05 PM game, the game worn jerseys will be auctioned off with portions of the proceeds being donated to a local charity.
