Sundogs to Wear Military-Themed Jerseys Saturday

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League announced Monday they will wear military-themed uniforms on Saturday, Nov. 28 in the first of three specialty jersey nights to benefit The Arizona Sundogs Foundation as they host the Colorado Eagles in conjunction with the team's military appreciation night.
The desert camouflage jerseys which will remain unseen until Saturday's pregame warm-ups will carry the Sundogs primary âS' logo on the chest, the American Flag on the right shoulder and a stars and stripes emblem on the left shoulder and will use a military style font for the numbers and nameplates.
The game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off immediately after the game in sections 209 and 210 with proceeds benefitting The Arizona Sundogs Foundation and its six âTeam Up For Hope' partners.
The Sundogs have raised more than $300,000 for non-profit agencies throughout Northern Arizona in 12 specialty jersey auctions in the franchise's first three seasons.
The dates and themes for the season's two remaining specialty jersey nights have yet to be determined.
