PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - In recognition of the nation's Armed Forces and in celebration of Veterans Day earlier this month, the Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League will host Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, Nov. 28 as they host the Colorado Eagles.

The team will wear military-themed uniforms in the first of three specialty jersey nights this season and will host a live jersey auction immediately following the game to benefit The Arizona Sundogs Foundation and non-profit agencies throughout Northern Arizona.

Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Color Guard will present the American and Arizona State flags during pregame ceremonies.

During the first intermission Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense organization, will present the Arizona Sundogs with the Seven Seals Certificate. The Seven Seals Certificate is the highest award given by ESGR and recognizes American employers who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to employees and families of those who have been called to serve.

On display on the concourse throughout the game will be an American Flag and a Sundogs team flag that were flown over Kirkuk Regional Air Base/FOB Warrior, Iraq on Nov. 19, 2008 by MSgt Kevin Perlak, SSgt Jeremy Sutton and SSgt Daryl Gladstein of the 506th Security Forces Squadron during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Perlak, Sutton and Gladstein are also police officers for the City of Prescott.

Group tickets for Saturday's game are available for just $10 and all military personnel will receive $4 off any ticket at the Tim's Toyota Center Box Office by simply showing their military ID. For more information contact the Arizona Sundogs at 928.772.5555.
