
Stockton Kings Fall to Santa Cruz Warriors 109-99

Stockton, CA - The Stockton Kings (10-11), of the NBA G League, were defeated by the Santa Cruz Warriors (9-12), 109-99 at Stockton Arena on Wednesday night.
The first half went back and forth with both teams trading buckets with the biggest lead belonging to Stockton with 18-11. Kings guard Matt Coleman III led the team in scoring at the half with thirteen points, added two rebounds and four assists. Kings forward Sheldon Mac provided a spark off the bench in the first half with twelve points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals. Warriors forward Jerome Robinson led the half with sixteen points on 4-6 shooting, added four rebounds and two assists. Stockton entered the break trailing 62-61 while shooting .523 percent, .500 percent from three-point land and .833 percent from the free throw line.
The second half started out much like the first with the two teams going back and forth. Santa Cruz took the lead by seven at the end of the third shooting more efficiently, .526 percent compared to .435 percent in the first half. In addition, Santa Cruz finished shooting .476 percent from the field, .243 percent from three and shot .917 percent from the free throw line for the entire game. Warriors forward Jerome Robinson led the game in scoring 28 points, added six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Kings guard Quinn Cook and forward Mac led the team in scoring 15 points apiece. Kings guard Coleman finished with 13 points and four rebounds. Kings forward Christian Terrell and center Neemias Queta each added 14 points. As a team, the Kings shot .402 percent from the field, .324 percent from three and .923 percent from the free throw line.
