Stockton Kings Beat Memphis Hustle for Fifth Straight Win

Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Kings (11-7), the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, beat the Memphis Hustle (13-8), the NBA G League affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies, tonight 103-94 for their fifth straight win. Two-way player Troy Williams led Stockton with a double-double, 25 points and 15 rebounds.

Stockton scored the first bucket of the game and never trailed. Cameron Reynolds scored 10 of his 20 points in the first quarter to help the Stockton Kings get ahead. In the first half, Williams had 16 points and nine rebounds. Stockton saw their biggest lead near the seven-minute mark of the third quarter, when they led by 18 points. Memphis cut down the lead to seven points with a minute remaining but could not catch up.

Tonight's win was an all-around team effort with seven players in double figures for the Stockton Kings. Two-way player Wenyen Gabriel had 13 points in 16 minutes. Matt Jones, Reggie Hearn, and Gabe Vincent had 10 points each.

Tyler Harvey led both teams in scoring, scoring 26 points, with six rebounds and two assists for the Hustle.

The Stockton Kings will head on the road for three games, before returning home on Friday, January 11. The Kings are back in action on January 3, at Landers Center to face the Memphis Hustle at 5 p.m. PT. Fans can view this game via ESPN+.
