ATLANTA, GA - The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club has assigned forward Omari Spellman and transferred forward Alex Poythress to the Erie BayHawks of the NBA G League, it was announced today.
Spellman has appeared in 23 games with the Hawks, starting eight, averaging 6.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 17.7 minutes.
Poythress, who is on a two-way contract, has played in 17 games (one start) with Atlanta, and has averaged 5.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in 14.1 minutes (.538 FG%).
