
Stinson's Big Night Not Enough For Energy

AUSTIN, TX, April 4, 2009 - Former Iowa State Cyclone Curtis Stinson recorded his second triple-double of the season, but the Iowa Energy fell 129-112 to the Austin Toros Friday Night.
Stinson finished the night with 27 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists but the Energy couldn't overcome a hot shooting Toros team that made 59.6% of their shots on the night. Othyus Jeffers added 19 points in the loss.
Despite losing their third straight game, Iowa remains in 1st place in the D-League's Central Division with three games remaining.
Austin was led by former Duke standout DeMarcus Nelson's 29 points while former San Antonio Spur Marcus Williams added 27 for the home team.
