South Carolina Stingrays News Release
The South Carolina Stingrays have some huge games coming up in the next month at the Coliseum with big crowds expected and plenty of excitement guaranteed. On the ice the Rays are playing better than they have all season and they have moved into the heart of the playoff Race.
The ECHL's Goaltender of the Month for December, Kirk Daubenspeck is back in top form as the Rays set themselves up for the stretch drive. Ed Courtenay has delivered as expected when he signed this off season. Courtenay has been filling the net for the Stingrays and is quickly moving up the team's All-time points list.
Kevin Spiewak has been an offensive catalyst for the stingrays this season as well. The former North Dakota standout learned recently that he would be returning to his home state of Illinois for the ECHL All-Star game on January 21st in Peoria.
As the weather in the Lowcountry remains cold outside the Stingrays have some hot games at the Coliseum to mark down on your calendar....
