Stingrays Gameday: Pink In The Rink Tonight Vs. Walleye

North Charleston, SC -The South Carolina Stingrays celebrate Pink in the Rink with Susan G. Komen-Lowcountry tonight at 7:05 p.m. against the Toledo Walleye at North Charleston Coliseum. Tonight is the third of four scheduled meetings between the two teams this season and the first in North Charleston Coliseum.

Come out for a night of fun as Stingrays players wear pink jerseys, skate on pink ice and play with pink sticks! The jerseys will be auctioned off live at the end of the game and the sticks will be added to the silent auction that is taking place on the Coliseum concourse during the contest. This season's silent auction features many great items including an authentic NFL New Orleans Saints helmet autographed by Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees! All proceeds will be donated to help fight breast cancer. Stop by the Stingrays Booster Club Tailgate outside in Parking Lot A for delicious plates of food at a great price!

The two teams wrap up their season series tomorrow, Sunday, February 21 at 4:00 p.m. at North Charleston Coliseum. Sunday is the Kid's Day featuring $5 kid's tickets and a pre-game kid's carnival. Sunday is also Adopt-a-Dog Sunday with Camp Bow Wow. Be sure to stop by their table on the main concourse to see the Adoptable Dog of the Night. Stingrays goaltender Shane Connelly earned his second career shutout last night against the Gwinnett Gladiators stopping all 15 shots and is 9-4-3-1 since joining the Stingrays on December 31.
