
Stingrays Announce Schedule Change

South Carolina Stingrays News Release
North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays, ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League announced today a change to 2008-09 schedule.
Due to a building conflict at the North Charleston Coliseum, the Stingrays home game against the Florida Everblades originally scheduled for Friday, Jan. 16 has been rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 15. The game time remains 7:05 p.m. The ticket for Jan. 16 should be used for entrance into the Jan. 15 game.
In addition, Special Olympics Night and the Saturn Used Car Giveaway promotion originally schedule for Jan. 16 has been rescheduled for Friday, Jan. 30.
The Rays are back in action on Thursday night against the Charlotte Checkers. It is the first meeting between the teams this year; the Stingrays led the series last season 7-4.
Stingrays games on Thursday nights are the place to be all season long. Anyone with a college ID and employees in food and beverage, or the golf or hospitality industry with valid pay stub can purchase a $5 ticket at the box office. And once you're in, don't forget $2 Bud Light Draughts all year until the end of the first period.
