Veteran Craig Valette Loaned to Houston Aeros

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons, announced veteran center Craig Valette (Va-LET) has been loaned to the Houston Aeros of the AHL on a professional tryout agreement (PTO).

Valette, 26, was signed by the Thunder as a free agent on Oct. 17, 2008 and has skated in two games for Stockton this season, scoring three points (2g-1a) while adding four penalty minutes. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound center has appeared in 328 career AHL games with Worcester and Cleveland, amassing 80 points (36g-44a) and 440 penalty minutes.

Valette's PTO agreement is on a 25-game tryout basis (maximum) with Houston.
