
Reign Receive Rheault and Boisclair

Ontario Reign News Release
ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings and the AHL Manchester Monarchs, announced that the Monarchs have returned right wing Jon Rheault to Ontario. The Reign also announced that they have acquired right wing Maxime Bosclair (BWAH-klare) in a trade that sent the rights to defenseman John Adams to the Charlotte Checkers. Adams' rights were previously obtained from the former Texas Wildcatters. Per Club policy, the terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Rheault (ROH), 22, returns to the Reign roster after skating in seven games this season with the Monarchs. While in Manchester, he tallied one point (1g, 0a) and four penalty minutes as well as netting his first professional goal on October 29 against the Lowell Devils.
Rheault played the past four seasons (2004-08) with Providence College in Rhode Island where he was selected to the Hockey East All-Academic Team for two consecutive years (2006-07 and 2007-08) for his academic achievements while actively competing in hockey. While with the Friars, the 5-foot 11-inch, Deering, New Hampshire, native played in 142 games, scoring 56 goals and assisting on 49 others (105 points). Rheault was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the fifth round of the 2006 NHL Entry draft.
Boisclair, 23, joins the Reign after appearing in four games with the ECHL Charlotte Checkers, whCHARLOTTE CHECKERS 2008-2009 HEAD SHOTS Maxime Boisclair.jpgere he tallied two points (0g, 2a) and four penalty minutes. The Port-au-Prince, Haiti native played 47 games in the 2007-08 season with the St. Hyacinthe Top Design of the LNAH, where he posted 82 points (29g, 53a) and tallied 75 penalty minutes. Boisclair also suited up with the ECHL Elmira Jackals in 2007-08, where he appeared in 14 games, netting four goals and assisting on 10 others (14 points).
Prior to 2007-08, Boisclair spent one season with the Johnstown Chiefs (2006-07) where he tallied 51 points (17g, 34a) and 92 penalty minutes. Boisclair participated in a 5-year QMJHL career (2001-06), in which he appeared in 334 games, netting 173 goals and assisting on 170 others. His best season in 2005-06 with the Chicoutimi Sagueneens where he posted 130 points (70g, 60a) in 70 games.
