Stingers Split Series with Honkers Losing Game Two 11-3

Rochester, Minn.- On Sunday the Stingers squared off with the Rochester Honkers at Mayo Field.

The Honkers on this day would put up 11 runs and defeat the Stingers 11-3.

The Honkers got seven of their 11 runs in the first two innings putting the game out of reach early.

However, Tyler Reichenborn (St. Louis) had a good game going 2-4 with a double leading to CDI player of the night honors.

Noah Fluman (San Diego St) was very good out of the Willmar pen. Fluman went three innings and gave up four runs. None of the four were earned.

The Stingers will take on the Mankato MoonDogs tomorrow to start a two game series before going back to Willmar on Wednesday.
