Bismarck, N.D. - After losing two games against Mankato the Willmar Stingers rebounded very nicely against the Bismarck Larks on Tuesday Night, defeating the Larks by a score of 4-2.

It started with a fantastic pitching performance from Trevor Divinski (Minnesota State) who went six solid innings, allowed only three hits, two runs and struck out four Larks.

Offensively Willmar was cruising, compiling 13 hits and four runs. Four of their hits came off the bat of Matt Rudick (San Diego State) who went 4-5 at the plate. His performance was good enough to get him CDI player of the game honors.

Nic Hernandez (Cal Poly Pomona) also made his debut on Tuesday, grabbing an RBI single in the process.

Willmar defeated the Larks by a final score of 4-2.

The two teams will face each other once again on Wednesday.
