The Owen Sound Attack are set to kick off a long road trip with their first stop in the Steel City on Wednesday night. Playing their next four games on the road, the Attack begin with a match up in Hamilton against the Bulldogs on Wednesday, Dec. 2, a 7:00pm puck drop at the FirstOntario Centre.
The game is the 2nd meeting of the year between the teams, with the Attack having taken the only previous match up by a score of 6-2 on home ice. It will also act as a a reunion of sorts.
On Nov. 19, the Owen Sound and Hamilton completed a trade that saw third year Attack defenceman Connor Walters move south to the Bulldogs in exchange for a pair of draft picks.Wednesday's game marks the first time Walters will face his old team since the deal.
The midweek matchup also marks a chance for the Attack to right the ship and snap a three game losing skid against a Bulldogs squad that is 9th in the Eastern Conference.
Owen Sound is coming off of a 4-1 loss to the London Knights on Saturday, Nov. 28, while the Bulldogs also fell by a score of 4-1 on the same night to the Mississauga Steelheads. The Attack enter Wednesday's game with a record of 11-10-3-1, good for 26 points in 7th in the West, while the Bulldogs are 9-16-1-0 on the year.
Leading Hamilton in scoring is overage forward Stephen Harper who has 28 points on the year while the Attack are still led by captain Santino Centorame who has 18 points in 25 games.

The Attack will then head to Erie for a weekend set against the Otters on Friday and Saturday before finishing their 4 game road stand in Kitchener next Friday, Dec. 11.
Owen Sound's next home game is on Saturday, Dec. 12 when they host the Sudbury Wolves at 7:30pm.
