
Steelheads Sign Defenseman Geoff Crisfield

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads have signed defenseman Geoff Crisfield to a Standard Player Contract (SPC), Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations Neil Graham announced on Thursday.
Crisfield, 25, played 12 games with the Birmingham Bulls (SPHL), tallying one goal and seven assists for eight points with 36 penalty minutes and a plus-three rating. The Calgary, Alb., native initially appeared at Steelheads Training Camp before joining the Bulls following his senior season at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Canada. In 96 collegiate games, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound defenseman totaled 16 goals and 35 assists for 51 points with a career-high 24 points in his senior season.
