Steelheads announce Kelly Cup Playoff schedule and ticket sales

Boise, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads today announced its 2003-04 ECHL Kelly Cup Playoff first round dates. The schedule anticipates Idaho and Las Vegas finishing second and third in the Western Conference, Pacific Division and facing each other in the first round. Should Idaho play a team other than Las Vegas, these dates are subject to change.

Currently, the Steelheads are in third place with 84 points and the Las Vegas Wranglers are in second place with 88 points. Both teams have six games remaining. The San Diego Gulls hold the top spot in the Pacific Division with 96 points and the Alaska Aces (75 points) occupy fourth place.

Tickets for Game 1 (if Idaho is the higher seed) or Game 3 (if Idaho is the lower seed) will go on sale Friday, March 26th. Ticket prices range from $12.00 to $29.00 for adults and $9.00 to $19.25 for youth and seniors. Tickets are available at the Bank of America Centre box office, by visiting any Select-A-Seat outlet, by calling 331-TIXS (8497), or by logging on to www.idahotickets.com or www.idahosteelheads.com.

All Kelly Cup Playoffs series except the final series will be a best of five. The Kelly Cup finals are a best of seven series.
