
Blades Raise $24,550 During Charity Jersey Auction

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades held their annual St. Patrick's Day Charity Jersey Auction on Friday, March 19th following their game against the Greensboro Generals. The Blades raised $24,550 during the annual event. Proceeds will benefit MDA, the Stan and Haney Draft Fund, the Jr. Everblades and Barbara's Friends. Forwards Keith Anderson and Tom Buckley's jerseys went for the highest price at the auction at $2,000 apiece. The entire listing of the jersey prices is listed below.
Since the announcement that Florida was awarded an East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) franchise, the club has touched thousands of children through a variety of educational programs, donations, special events and fan development initiatives. Throughout the Florida Everblades existence, the franchise has utilized the unique resources of our professional athletes, coaches, and staff to improve the quality of life throughout the SW Florida community by donating well over $200,000 to local charitable organizations, annually donating autographed merchandise to over 1,000 local charities for auctions, dinners and raffles and reaching over 50,000 students through Everblades educational assemblies, Education Day at TECO Arena and reading programs.
