
Steel Complete Saturday Trade With Tri-City

GENEVA, ILLINOIS -The Chicago Steel announced Saturday that they have acquired the rights to forward Austen Long, a 2017 USHL Phase I Draft 4th round pick, and future considerations from the Tri-City Storm in exchange for forward Brandon Duhaime and a 2017 USHL Phase I 6th round pick.
Long, 17, is a native of Blaine, MN, and has appeared in 28 games this city for Tri-City, scoring two goals. The 5'10", 185 forward is committed to Colorado College.
Duhaime, 18, tallied 10 goals and 22 assists for the Steel in his first season in the USHL. The Parkland, Florida native is committed to Providence College.
Chicago returns home against Sioux City on Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Fox Valley Ice Arena. It's Steel Your Heart Night with a special Valentine's ticket package that includes two tickets, two popcorns, two Steel winter caps and a photo with mascot Rusty for just $40. Plus, it's College Night. Students with a valid ID receive a special $12 ticket that includes a $5 beverage voucher.
