
State Liners at River Riders Game Postponed Due to Rain

Elizabethton River Riders News Release
ELIZABETHTON, TN - The Elizabethton River Riders game against Bristol was postponed due to rain at Northeast Community Credit Union Ballpark. The River Riders have a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third with one out. The game will be resumed in Bristol. Dates and times are TBD.
In the bottom of the first, catcher Chase Adkison (Oklahoma State University) had an RBI ground out to second, scoring centerfielder Logan Sanders (Pima) from third.
E-Town Starting RHP Alex Brewer (Lincoln Memorial) threw three innings and struck out six in seven batters faced while hitting one. In the third inning, Brewer needed just four pitches to retire the side.
The River Riders will spend the next nine days on the road starting on Thursday in Pulaski against the East Division Leading River Turtles. Elizabethton is 8-2 against East Division teams so far this season. Fans can listen with the link below.
