LINCOLN, NE - The Omaha Lancers fell to the Lincoln Stars on Saturday night by a final score of 3-2.
The Stars opened the first period with Zach Urdahl netting the puck twice giving the Stars a 2-0 lead. In the second period, Ryan Lautenbach scored on the power-play to get the Lancers within one goal. Late into the third period, Ayrton Martino evened the game on a breakaway goal. The Stars would take back the lead with 1:08 left in the game when Urhdal scored his third of the night for a 3-2 final.
The Lancers are now 14-13 on the year and sit at 4th place in the USHL Western Conference.
Omaha is on the road Tuesday to face off against the Musketeers in Sioux City. The puck drop is at 7:05 PM.
