COACHES COMMENTS

What are your takeaways from tonight's game?

Certainly was happy with the overall game. I thought once we got through that first goal, giving up a goal on the rush was tough. I thought after that the penalty kill was much better than the previous night. I thought certainly five-on-five we extended time in the offensive zone, which can wear a team down and I thought we did that. From start to finish they played the game the right way. We got up big and they had their mind set on playing a full sixty.

Was this one of the better games that your team has played this season?

I think we created a lot more tonight. We had a lot of zonetime which is going to lead to opportunity. (We) scored our first three on the power play and that kind of gets me a little bit worried because we weren't having a ton of success five-on-five. We had possession but weren't getting the puck in net, but it was just a matter of time. You spend so much time in their end we finally got through and the guys stuck with it. They didn't get frustrated. We kept going.

Is there a reason Adam Brady got three goals or is that a product of him playing with the guys he is playing with?

You look at all three of his goals. Great pass from Grant Jozefek on the power play. Biagio works his butt off to be the first man to the puck and turns it over and right out front for an empty net. The third one was a great play by Ryan (Jones) keeping the puck in, finds Will (D'Orsi) and Will makes a nice pass to Adam. That was the one he had to do more work on to finish it. Adam has the ability to score. We know that he is capable of it. He has been a real solid player for us all year.

The PK was good as well, how did you feel about that?

It was better. That's what I wanted to see was better from last game. Certainly you don't want to see call late when you're up in a game. Our guys battled through it and certainly it could've been a little more interesting if they had gotten a couple there but our guys buckled down.
