
Four Stars Participate in National Signing Day

Lincoln, Neb. - Four Stars signed their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday at the Ice Box.
Carson Gicewicz, Peyton Jones, Grant Jozefek and Ludvig Hoff each made their official commitments on National Signing Day, solidifying their collegiate plans.
Gicewicz will attend St. Lawrence University at the conclusion of his USHL career, joining Stars forward Sam Kauppila who officially declared his commitment last season.
"I'm really excited to head up there and see what next season holds," Gicewicz said. "It's going to be fantastic."
Gicewicz signed his National Letter of Intent with three points in 13 games for the Stars. Last season he scored 12 points in 15 games for Nichols School in Buffalo, N.Y.
Peyton Jones declared his verbal commitment to Penn State University in October and signed his official intent to play for the Nittany Lions on Wednesday. Jones has posted a 2.33 GAA and .916 SV% in his second season with the Stars.
Jozefek will head to Northeastern University following his USHL career. During the past two seasons, he's scored 40 points in 64 games for the Stars.
"It's been a long time coming and I'm really happy that I get to go in next year and be a part of such a great organization," Jozefek said.
Hoff signed his National Letter of Intent for the University of North Dakota, pledging to join Stars defensemen Christian Evers in Grand Forks, N.D. Hoff has 61 points in 93 games for the Stars.
"It's definitely a big honor to play for North Dakota next year," Hoff said. "I'm really excited."
The Stars have 18 college commits on their roster and have 55 alums playing Division I college hockey.
