The Stars knocked down 21 threes on the way to their highest scoring game since Jan. 7. The Stars offense jumped out in the second quarter, scoring 46 points on an impressive 65 percent from the field. Preston scored 12 of his 26 first half points in the quarter, as Salt Lake City took a 76-71 lead into the break.

Salt Lake City responded on a 15-3 run, taking a 103-95 lead into the fourth. The Stars lead ballooned to double figures in the frame, but a 12-2 Legends run flipped the lead with just 32 seconds remaining. With 25 seconds left, Miller raced down the floor serving a layup, to tie the game at 129 and force overtime.
In the overtime period, the Legends scored the first basket, before the Stars rattled off seven unanswered points. Off a turnover at mid-court, Preston found a cutting Miller who finished through contact to sink a layup, hitting the target score of 136.
