
Squadron Acquire First-Round Pick in Trade with Ontario

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, have acquired the 2024 G League Draft first-round pick of the Texas Legends in a trade sending the returning rights to forward Kelan Martin to the Ontario Clippers.
Martin last played for Birmingham during the 2022-23 season and averaged 20.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game on 50.1% shooting from the field.
The Squadron return to the court Friday to take on the Greensboro Swarm at Legacy Arena at the BJCC. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game can be seen on My68 or NBAGLeague.com.
