Stars Host "Military Appreciation Night" on November 20

SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, will host "Military Appreciation Night" presented by Savage Industries on Wednesday, Nov. 20 against the Sioux Falls Skyforce to honor and recognize members of the United States Armed Forces for their service.

"Military Appreciation Night" will tip off at 7 p.m. (MT) from Bruin Arena on the campus of Salt Lake Community College in Taylorsville. The game will feature Taylorsville High Army JROTC presenting the colors, in-game recognition of veterans and military members, and special messages from the Stars organization shown on the video board throughout the game.

There will be a "Thank You" letter writing station set up in the concourse for fans to send notes to deployed troops, veterans, new recruits, wounded heroes and their caregivers.

All active or retired military members are eligible to receive up to four free tickets with military ID presented at the box office.

The game is part of the NBA and NBA G League's "Hoops for Troops" initiative, which honors active and retired service members and their families. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
