November 19, 2019 - NBA G League (G League) News Release
MIGHTY MARIAL: Philadelphia 76ers two-way player Marial Shayok (left) was named NBA G League Performer of the Week for games played Friday, Nov. 8, through Sunday, Nov. 17. The former Iowa State Cyclone standout averaged an impressive 35.0 points and 9.3 rebounds in three games for the Delaware Blue Coats.
HOT STARTS: Josh Jackson, the No. 4 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft on assignment from the Memphis Grizzlies, is off to a good start with the Memphis Hustle. The 6-8 guard-forward is averaging 19.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists for the undefeated Hustle (4-0). Boston Celtics two-way player Tacko Fall is averaging a near double-double with 16.7 points and 9.7 rebounds for the undefeated Maine Red Claws (3-0).
LEADING THE HERD: Highlighted by a 27-point performance against Raptors 905 on Nov. 15, Milwaukee Bucks two-way player Cameron Reynolds put together a strong week averaging 19.2 points and 4.8 rebounds. Reynolds is the only Herd player to score in double figures in all five games this season as part of a strong 4-1 start. Miami Heat guard Kendrick Nunn has made an instant impact in South Florida. Nunn, who went undrafted in 2018, ranks second among all rookies in scoring (17.8 ppg) behind the Memphis Grizzlies' Ja Morant (18.4 ppg). Nunn came to training camp with no guarantee he'd make the team. Now he's starting and has the third-most points (214) for an undrafted player through his first 12 games dating back to the 1963-64 season. The former Santa Cruz Warrior has currently scored at least 20 points in Miami's last three games.
