Stars Fall To Admirals in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, WI--- The Milwaukee Admirals scored four first period goals and rode that momentum to a 5-2 win over the Iowa Stars Friday night at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. The Stars remain on the road as they play the Peoria Rivermen tomorrow night in Peoria at 7pm.

Five different Admirals scored as they closed out the season series with the Stars with a 2-1-0 record and, in the process, won their seventh consecutive game. James Neal and Konstantin Pushkarev scored the goals for the Stars. Neal's goal was his 14th of the season and his ninth in the last 17 games. Pushkarev's was number 13 on the season for him. It also extended his point streak to a now team record nine games, breaking Loui Eriksson's 8 game streak from late in the 2005-06 season.

Tobias Stephan took the loss in the net for the Stars with 31saves. The Admirals out shot the Stars 15-7 in the first period and 36-25 for the game.
