In the second period, the P-Bruins took a 2-0 advantage at the 1:54 mark. Aaron Slattengren worked the puck from behind the net to Hendricks in front of the crease. Josh Hennessy tallied his 18th goal of the season, with Denis Hamel and Danny Bois picking up the assists. Binghamton tied the game at two, while on the power play at the 17:57 mark.
