Stars Acquire Forward Casdon Jardine

SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake City Stars, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, announced today the team has added forward Casdon Jardine from the available player pool.

Jardine (6-7, 215, Hawaii) comes to the Stars following his senior season at University of Hawaii where he appeared in 21 games, all starts, owning averages of 10.9 points and 5.5 rebounds in 27.9 minutes a game during the Warriors' 2020-21 campaign.

Prior to his time at Hawaii, the Twin Falls, Idaho, native played one season at Utah Valley, where he started in all 29 games in which he appeared, averaging 10.1 points and 4.8 boards in 27.2 minutes per contest.

Jardine will look to make his Salt Lake City debut later tonight as the Stars are slated to battle the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Bruin Arena at Salt Lake Community College in Taylorsville.

Tonight's game against the Skyforce is Hoops for Troops night presented by Larry H. Miller Dealerships. In addition to honoring local military members and their families for their service and sacrifice, the stars will don special patriotic, military appreciation uniforms.
