CORPUS CHRISTI - Star Wars Night is coming to Whataburger Field this Friday.
If you're a fan of the epic movie franchise and associated pop culture phenomena, the Hooks have all sorts of fun in store.
"We had a fine response to theme nights last season and can't wait for Friday's celebration," Hooks Director of Ballpark Entertainment J.D. Davis said. "There are a lot of neat elements in place."
They include:
-A $37.89 package that includes a reserved-seat ticket and your choice of a special edition T-shirt (while very limited supplies last)
-Two Star Wars Night T-shirt styles on sale at Hook, Line & Sinker (men and ladies cuts)
-A $1 ticket discount for all patrons who attend in Star Wars attire
-A 6:20 pregame warning track parade for those dressed as Star Wars characters
-Star Wars-themed ballpark entertainment features and graphics
-A Star Wars photo backdrop for fan selfies
To purchase the ticket/T-shirt package, visit Hook, Line & Sinker at the intersection of Port Avenue and Tancahua at Whataburger Field. The store is open from 10-5 weekdays. Hook, Line & Sinker opens at 11 on Saturday game days, noon on Sunday game days during the spring.
Postgame Friday, Bud Light presents Friday Fireworks and two fans compete in the Texas Lottery Lucky Scratch Ticket Dance-Off.
