June 27, 2007 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Kansas City Brigade News Release

KANSAS CITY - Brigade WR Charles Frederick was named to the Arena Football League All-Rookie team on Wednesday, the second consecutive year in which a Brigade wide receiver made the team. Aaron Boone was named to the 2006 team.

Frederick started 14 games and led all rookies in receptions (115), yards from scrimmage (1,518), first downs (100), all-purpose yards (2,129), rushing attempts (50), rushing yards (133), rushing touchdowns (14), and scoring (246 points on 41 TD). His 115 receptions stood eight shy of breaking the all-time rookie record of 122, set by teammate Jerel Myers in the Brigade's inaugural season.

Frederick's stats established a number of team records, including all of the above numbers save receptions. He also set a single-game franchise record for rushing yards (59 on March 4 vs. Chicago), tied the single-game franchise and rookie record for TD receptions (5 on May 20 at New York), and tied the single-game franchise record and set the single-game rookie record for rushing TD (3 on March 4 vs. Chicago and March 16 vs. Dallas).
