Stampede Undercut in Utah

OREM, Utah, January 14, 2011 - Jermareo Davidson (13 rebounds) and Willie Jenkins (six rebounds, four assists) each scored 17 points, but it wasn't enough as the Idaho Stampede (6-15) lost to the Utah Flash (10-9) 100-96 in overtime.

Seven Stampeders scored in double-figures with Cedric Jackson adding 15 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Seth Tarver and Antoine Walker each scored 13 points and substitute Carlos Wheeler had 12 points and six rebounds.

Despite holding a 22-point lead, the Stampede fell as they committed 17 turnovers and shot just 13-of-22 (59.1 percent) from the free throw line. Idaho led by 18 after three quarters, and they did not score in the final quarter until the 7:46 mark, when they got their lead up to 12 points.

Ronald Dupree (game-high 22 points) scored Utah's last nine points in regulation, tying the game at 90 with 20.6 seconds left. Orien Greene (20 points, eight assists, six rebounds) made a three-pointer with 2:00 minutes left in overtime and Brandon Costner (11 points, six rebounds) followed that with a bucket to extend the Flash lead to five with 1:16 left.

The Stampede travel to play the Dakota Wizards on Sunday at 2 p.m. and then again on Monday at 6 p.m. (MT).
