Two T-Birds Named to All D-League Showcase Teams

Rio Rancho, NM - The New Mexico Thunderbirds announced today that Dar Tucker was named to the All D-League Showcase Third Team and Shane Edwards was an NBA D-League Showcase Honorable Mention.
Tucker played in both T-Birds games and averaged 21 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steal while shooting 16-28 from the floor and hitting seven 3-pointers. In the Thunderbirds win against the Texas Legends, Tucker scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Edwards averaged 17.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 2.5 steals in the two games. In the Thunderbirds last game on Tuesday, Edwards scored a team best 29 points and had 10 rebounds.
Both players will be in action tonight when the Thunderbirds take on the first place Tulsa 66ers at 7:30 p.m. at the Santa Ana Star Center.
