Idaho Stampede News Release
BOISE, Idaho, February 9, 2012 - Pink Idaho Stampede jerseys generated some green for St. Luke's Mountain States Tumor Institute.
Through AuctionFrogs.org and in-arena bids, the Stampede's pink jerseys, shooting shirts and donated items from sponsors raised approximately $8,700 for MSTI. The auction also raised awareness for mammogram screening, in which the State of Idaho ranks last in the country.
"We are glad we could partner with St. Luke's for this great auction, and we thank our fans and supporters for helping to raise money and awareness for breast cancer," Stampede President and General Manager Steve Brandes said.
Each player's jersey was auctioned off, as well as items and experiences, such as the chance to have lunch with Head Coach Randy Livingston, an appearance by mascot AAA Rumble, and a "fan pack" featuring tickets and merchandise.
