Frisco, TX FEB. 9, 2012 - Despite a stat-stuffing performance by Alando Tucker the Texas Legends fell to the Springfield Armor, 114-98.

Tucker contributed in every phase of the game pouring in a season high 19 points combined with six rebounds and six assists. Dominique Johnson was one board better bringing in 19 points, seven rebounds, and six more precious assists.

Springfield was able to pull away behind some phenomenal outside shooting as they connected on 14 from long range on 50% from beyond the arc.

Sean Williams was strong once again for Texas grabbing a team high nine rebounds while scoring 17 points. The Texas bench struggled tonight, shooting just above 25% as a unit. The Legends made a solid effort to get to the free throw line, but made only 17 of their 26 attempts.

Dennis Horner led the way for the Armor with a game high 24 points and 11 rebounds for his first double-double since Springfield's opening night.

Texas (13-17) will look to split the series with Springfield (16-13) on Saturday at 6:00PM as they complete to two-game stand at the MassMutual Center.
