
D-Fenders Roll Past 66ers

EL SEGUNDO, CA - The Los Angeles D-Fenders defeated the Tulsa 66ers 110-98 on Wednesday night to extend their win streak to four games. The current win streak marks the third time this season that the D-Fenders have won four consecutive games or more.
Los Angeles (21-10), who has defeated its opponents by an average of 25.5 points per game in the last four contests, never trailed to Tulsa and led by as many as 22 points in the second half thanks in part to a 60-42 halftime lead.
Gerald Green ignited the D-Fenders offensive output after he totaled 31 points, eight rebounds and five steals in front of the Toyota Sports Center crowd. Additionally, Courtney Fortson finished with 20 points, six rebounds and six assists, Brandon Costner tallied 20 points along with four rebounds, and Zach Andrews totaled 14 points (6-8 FG), six rebounds and two blocks for Los Angeles.
The 66ers (15-15), who shot 46.3 percent on the evening, were paced by Jerome Dyson (19 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists). Meanwhile, Marcus Lewis chipped in 17 points to go with 11 rebounds, Robert Vaden added 17 points, six rebounds, six assists and Curtis Sumpter finished with 16 points to round out the Tulsa players with double-digit point totals.
The D-Fenders next play the Reno Bighorns at the Reno Events Center on Friday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m., and the game is available online for viewing through NBA Futurecast.
