Sioux Falls, S.D. (Feb. 9, 2012) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has claimed forward Brian Hamilton off waivers. The active roster now stands at 11 players.

Hamilton holds NBA Development League career averages of 9.1 points and 4.8 rebounds in 156 games with the Utah Flash (135) and Los Angeles D-Fenders (21). He averaged 8.5 points and 4.5 in 21 games (nine starts) for Los Angeles earlier this season before being waived on Feb. 3. The 6-6, 205-pound forward was averaging 14.1 points before leaving the team to attend training camp with the New Jersey Nets. He averaged 12.6 points 7.3 rebounds and 2.2 steals in two seasons (60 games) at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.
