Stampede Friday Home Games to Air on KTRV Channel 12

BOISE, Idaho, November 22, 2011 - The Idaho Stampede announced today KTRV Channel 12 will air live each of the Stampede's Friday night home games. Local viewers can now watch live Stampede games on the following channels: DirecTV 12, Dish Network 12, over the air 12.1, and on CableOne Digital 480.

Idaho plays nine Friday home games this season, including the first game of the season on Nov. 25 against Tulsa - all of the broadcasts begin at 7 p.m. (MST). The other dates are: Dec. 2 vs. Dakota, Dec. 16 vs. Canton, Jan. 13 vs. Los Angeles, Jan. 20 vs. Austin, Feb. 3 vs. Rio Grande Valley, Feb. 17 vs. Reno, March 23 vs. Ft. Wayne and April 6 vs. Bakersfield.

"We are thrilled to be playing nine of our games live on TV this year," Stampede President and GM Steve Brandes said. "KTRV Channel 12 is a fantastic local station and has proven the ability to provide great production value to anything they cover."

The play-by-play and color commentators will be the current NBA Futurecast team of Mark Snider and Ross Cook.

"KTRV is extremely happy to bring a great local sporting event to the people of the Treasure Valley," KTRV President and General Manager Ricky Joseph said. "We are very excited to carry Idaho Stampede basketball."
