Stampede Fall to D-Fenders, 135-127

BOISE, Idaho - Terrence Williams scored 50 for the Los Angeles D-Fenders (15-10) in a 135-127 win over the Idaho Stampede (14-12). The 50-point mark is the highest single game performance of the 2013-14 NBA D-League season.

After falling behind by nine in the first quarter, the D-Fenders used a 37-point second quarter to take a 67-60 lead into the half. Terrence Williams scored 20 of his 50 points in the third period but Idaho kept pace thanks to Kevin Murphy's 13-point quarter. The Stampede brought the game within three points five different times in the fourth quarter but couldn't close the gap.

Los Angeles was led by Terrence Williams (50 points) who shot 18-37 from the floor. Shawne Williams and CJ Williams each added 19 points. The D-Fenders shot 47-98 (48%) and 24-39 (42%) from the free throw stripe.

Kevin Murphy led the Stampede with 34 points off the bench. Pierre Jackson finished with 22 points and a season-high 12 assists for his first double-double this year. Dee Bost recorded his second triple-double of the season with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. EJ Singler added 20 points and Kellen Thornton posted his third double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

The two teams meet again Saturday night at 7 p.m. in downtown Boise.
